German Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe. The brand is also known as “the three stripes company” because of its logo, used on clothing and shoe design. In case you were wondering how they came up with the logo, adidas purchased the logo from finish sports company Karhu Sports.

Since the foundation of the brand, it is impossible not to associate it with the iconic white sneakers that athletes wore and quickly appeared on sneaker lovers’ feet. Now, adidas is bringing back some old school models.

Actually, the brand is not bringing back old models, but taking inspiration in some older models. Adidas is following the trend of vintage-looking sneakers. For that reason, the brand is launching the A.R. Trainer and S.C. Premiere.

The two new silhouettes come in muted colourways, which basically means that they are not bright. The first one, S.C. Premiere takes inspiration on 40 years of adidas’ court shoe silhouettes. It features a premium leather upper, which sits atop a rubber midsole and an off-white outsole. The trefoil logo window appears on the lateral of the sneaker.

The A.R. Trainer is a remake of the 1988’s ASC Trainer. It comes in white leather and features a construction that references ’80s tennis sneakers. The two sneaker models will release online on January 24.
