New colors for the iconic sneakers
You might notice this is not the first time we feature the Air Jordans Retro High OG in this blog, but we believe that such an iconic shoe deserves a review every time there is news about it.
Ever since Michael Jordan used them in 1985 and broke some league rules, the Air Jordan I became one of the most famous shoes in the world. People use them everywhere, whether they play basketball or not.
On September 3rd, Nike released the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Banned in the traditional colourway that made them famous, with lots of red and black. The version we present today is more discrete and actually is more of our preference.
The new Air Jordans come back in white and black (with just a hint of red), maintaining the classic silhouette. The shoes feature full-grain leather for durability and style, with a black Nike Swoosh, and red textile branding on the tongue.
The rubber cupsole with encapsulated Air-Sole unit in the heel makes them lightweight and provides cushioning. This old school icon is once again hitting the streets with the top quality Nike has got us used to.
