The tracksuit trend reaches Gucci
Alessandro Michele has made us dream of floral prints ever since he was appointed as Gucci’s creative director in january 2015. He his responsible for all Gucci collections and global brand images. Now, he designed a tracksuit that makes us want to be in sweats all day.
His super feminine and colorful designs are the fantasy of all fashionistas and now streetwear lovers can also get a Gucci piece. All because the brand just launched a tracksuit collection.
Tracksuits have been everywhere this year, with celebrities like the Kardashians wearing them like they’re high fashion. Fashion Week front rows around the world are full of activewear so it is not surprising that Gucci has also turned to tracksuits.
The Gucci tracksuit collection features an oversized Embroidered Jersey Sweatshirt and the Jersey Stirrup Leggings in black and green iterations. Intricate and delicate blossom appliqués and details stripe down the sleeves and legs of the pieces.
The materials are all high quality. The leggings and jerseys feature technical materials. Also, they can be used to work out or just to be super stylish while taking walks in the city. Gucci’s activewear collection retails between $890 and $2700 USD. You can find it at Gucci’s website and physical stores.
