Street art artist Vhils created a beautiful limited edition bottle for Hennessy
Earlier this year, iconic French cognac house Hennessy surprised everyone by inviting Portuguese street art artist Vhils to create a limited edition version of its iconic Hennessy Very Special bottle.
Vhils, whose real name is actually Alexandre Farto, is a renowned urban artist. Most noteworthy, he became famous for creating incredible street art pieces all over Lisbon – and then, all Europe – using uncommon materials.
Vhils scoured Hennessy’s archives to get inspiration to design the Hennessy Very Special limited edition. This edition comes with an exclusive box. Moreover, the coolest aspect of this limited edition is that no two of the stunning pieces are exactly alike. In addition, each features a hand-signature by the author, using his world-renowned “Making the Invisible Visible” technique.
His work with Hennessy was even at display at this year’s Art Basel Miami. The reason is simple: the Hennessy Very Special Collector’s Edition by Vhils is a true work of art in its own right. There will only be produced 100 examples of the unique sets. The sets include collector’s edition bottle and a one-of-a-kind display box. The retail price is $1,000 apiece.
Vhils admits that he has been a loyal fan of Hennessy for years. For the artist, it is an honour to work with such an iconic brand. This is a collector’s piece that we would definitely love to own. Finally, you can order it through the Clos19 page.
