A limited edition by Chanel

The Monsieur de Chanel watch made its debut last year at Baselworld – a trade show of the international watch and jewellery industry, organized each spring in the city of Basel, Switzerland.-, and took watch connoisseurs by storm due to its sleek aesthetics and innovative mechanics.

For this year’s event, the luxury brand brought back its first male watch in a limited edition that features a platinum case and a black enamel dial. The new watch has the same mechanical aspects of the first edition, Caliber 11 movement.

It also features the same retrograde minute hand and jump-hour movement So what is new about the new Monsieur de Chanel? Basically, the exterior of the watch.

The platinum case features a sapphire caseback through which you can see the wheel movements. The 240-degree retrograde minute display is in a black dial made of grand feu enamel.

This is a truly elegant piece and and is super exclusive since Chanel will only produce 100 pieces. At 63,000 dollars, this is not a watch for any pocket, but it surely makes an impression. If we could afford it, the Monsieur de Chanel would definitely be in our wrist.
