Nike just released a new silhouette for the Huarache
Nike originally released the Huarache in 1991 and gave it the name of a Native American sandal.
The design of the shoe literally “hugged” the foot, so the American multinational brand released it with the question “Have you hugged your foot today?”. The sneaker’s neoprene and spandex sock combined with Nike’s classic air unit made it extra comfortable.
The thermoplastic heel strap makes this shoe one of my favourites for street style. The “Huarache fit” is unique, and I personally never found a shoe that fits my feet as good as the Huarache.
Now, Nike continues its legacy of reinvention and releases the Nike Air Huarache City Low. The shoe comes with a customizable lacing system, allowing you to wear your shoes in the way you prefer.
The new silhouette “City Low” comes in three different colorways, “Khaki”, “Particle Rose” and “Black”, all with a white sole. You can purchase them at Nike’s website.
