A new take on the iconic Polaroid SX-70 camera

The Polaroid SX-70 camera is one of the most iconic Polaroid instant cameras. It was originally produced between 1972 and 1981 but you can still purchase them at Polaroid Originals website for approximately 400 dollars.

The SX-70 is the most compact of all Polaroid cameras thanks to its folding mechanism. This is a perfect gift for vintage-lovers. Now, Sacai partnered with Polaroid to create a special edition of the SX-70. In case you are not familiar with the name, Sacai is a Japanese luxury fashion brand that came to life in 1999.

Sacai is especially known for being influential in breaking down the dichotomy between casual and formal clothing. The SX-70 usually comes in a range of classic colours. Some of those colours are chrome with brown leather or black with black leather.

Now, Sacai x Polaroid released new versions in blue and red versions. Both versions feature minimal Sacai branding. This vintage-inspired camera is releasing exclusively at Sanyo Tamagawa Tsuya appliance shop in Japan on November 27.
