The new Stan Smiths by Adidas arrive in leather and suede
Everyone says that you don’t fix what is not broken and it seems that adidas is following this advice. The German tennis brand has been releasing back to back versions of the classic Stan Smiths.
The truth is, at a time when sports shoes have been leading the footwear market, it made no sense to act otherwise. Following the madness of the past two years regarding the Stan Smith classics, Adidas has reinvented the model numerous times.
That is the case of the recent model Flowerboom, released last month. This time, the news lies in the material itself. Quilted Leather, as its name implies, is skin-hugging, and comes in black, which contrasts with the white sole.
The model is not yet available in stores. The Trace Cargo, made in suede, comes in gray and has new details in the tongue, replacing the Stan Smith logo for a bronze upgrade of the logo three stripes, very popular since the birth of the brand and still used today.
The Trace Cargo model is already on sale on the brand’s website. This may be a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day.
