A car that has a sky full of stars
Rolls- Royce just announced a new and special collection for its Wraith 2- door coupe. The new line is called the “Wraith Luminary Collection” and features shooting stars.
Rolls-Royce was established in 1904 and designs, manufactures and distributes power systems for aviation and other industries like motor cars.
The Luminary Collection is very limited, as Rolls-Royce is only producing 55 examples. The most special feature is that the cair has its own nights sky, thanks to its headliner. The headliner has 1340 built-in fiber-optic light mimicking the sky.
There is even the possibility to see a shooting star. The brand says eight shooting stars fire at random, mostly over the front seats. The inside of the car also feature a celestial theme. With tudor oak veneer coming from forests in the e Czech Republic, this car is super exclusive.
Another cool feature is that the wood is back-lit by 176 LED lights that permeates through perforations in the veneer that form another starlight pattern. All is takes to see is touching a button.
In addition, the Cockpit seats feature tan leather while the rear ones are made in contrasting Anthracite leather or an available Seashell color for the leather.
Finally, the Luminary Collection is painted in Sunburst Gray paint, which changes from gray to copper when the car gets sunlight.
The brand stated that the collection is for “a person who inspires or influences others, especially one prominent in a particular sphere”. Rolls-Royce didn’t announce prices yet but the Wraith probably starts around $320,000.
