Dolce & Gabbana is releasing a kitchenware collection with SMEG
Dolce & Gabbana is a luxury Italian fashion house founded in 1985 by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The two designers met in Milan and from then on they established their first store. They recently worked with SMEG.
The Italian brand teamed up with SMEG – an Italian kitchenware company – and just released a collection of kitchen appliances. The name of the collection is “Sicily is my Love” in honor of the two brand’s Italian roots.
The “Sicily is my Love” collection features toasters, coffee machines, kettles, blenders, and more. The pieces feature vibrant colors that characterize Dolce & Gabbana.
The floral motifs and vibrant colors featured in the pieces of the collection resemble the Sicilian aesthetic and will certainly give your kitchen an exotic and traditionally Italian feel.
Remember that last year Dolce & Gabbana released 100 hand painted fridges that took about 240 hours to paint. Although the brands haven’t disclosed price information, as a result of the collaboration of these two large brands, we can expect prices to be a bit high.
