A modern twist on a classic shoe, the Adilette
The adidas adilette slides were first launched in 1972 and since then they have set the style standard for sandals. At first they were mostly used by athletes – every soccer player is seen using them outside the pitch – but now they have become a street culture icon.
Every year adidas releases a new version on the classic adilette slide and they continue to be one of the best sold items of the german brand. They can be worn around the house or to the pool or even in the street.
No matter in which situation you wear them, these slides are a cozy option for the summer months ahead. Now, adidas has launched a new version of the adilette, in which the upper was made with a sweatband material.
The new adilette features a bandage-like material upper with the classic 3-stripes. They also have a contoured footbed that cradles your feet for a comfy feel. The synthetic bandage upper resembles the classic on-court headband.
There are two colorways available: the classic Black and White and a green-and-white. I can’t wait to get my pair, as I already have some pairs of the classic models (it was my first pool slide) but this is my favourite model to date.
