Vans: the return of a classic
If there is a brand that knows how to keep fans enthusiastic is Vans. After releasing a Toy’s Story-inspired line, the brand collaborated with Undercover and created four new models. Two with floral motifs and two with phrases in the front of the foot.
The Japanese brand created by Jun Takahashi and Vans have chosen two classic models to receive new standards. The OG Old Skool LX is available in Bordeaux, and light blue with small flowers and the OG Era LX has the following phrase stamped: “Take me in time, time to the music, Take me away to the twilight zone.”
It could have been chosen at random but this is part of the “Shelter Song.” The song was released in 2014 by the English band Temples. Prices range from $ 130 to $ 150 (approximately € 121 and € 140) and will be available on February 4th.
Models such as Slip-On, Old Skool, SK8 or Era became icons for Vans. In addition, Forbes even considered the brand as one of America’s “Best Small Business” in 2001. Today, there are more than 40 stores scattered throughout the world.
If you love a good classic sneaker revamped, this is the perfect fit for you. This promises to be one of the best collaborations of the year.
